We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.
Knowing that this is true in almost every aspect of life, we move on....facing our hardships and bad times with elan....thinkin that the dawn is just around the corner.
Sometimes, this may be just a false hope....but we tend to overlook it and keep holding on to it...why??
maybe it makes us feel secure......or maybe we will be too lost without it....or mayb we just luv being optimistic......
Whatever it is....it unconsciously takes us farther from the truth.... which btw, is gettin starker by the day... we only need a fresh set of eyes/mind to see/understand it... this is where we we need to think different... maybe get a totally new perspective... which is easier said than done!!!
Even after we've done the hard work and seen that we are in/heading for trouble....we try to go for damage control, which is essentially tweaking things a little so that they might still work.....or give us the false illusion of truth....
As Scarlett famously said when Rhett left her.... "Tara! Home. I'll go home. And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all... tomorrow is another day. "..what she didn't realise that he was gone for good...(gone with the wind!! :P).......there is a Scarlett in each one of us.....complex, willful, selfish and indecisive....
Nothing is as important to our long-term well being as being decisive....If our dream doesn’t quite seem to be realising, set it aside without regret..... Like a pretty toy, it may be pleasant to look at, but it’s not important enough to give time to...and time is well, precious.
So, whether its a small or a big issue....sometimes, its best to just let go...........
We can have a entirely new beginning....a new dawn.....
Afterall, tomorrow is another day!!! :)
